BioCyclic Wins at HackAmerica 🌍♻️

I’m excited to share that BioCyclic was selected as a winning project at HackAmerica.

BioCyclic started with a question:

What if waste wasn’t the end of a lifecycle, but the beginning of a new one?

Around the world, enormous amounts of waste create environmental and public health challenges. Rather than treating waste as something to simply dispose of, BioCyclic explores how technology can help transform harmful waste streams into valuable resources that can create positive impact for society.

The vision behind BioCyclic is simple:

➡️ Reduce environmental harm
➡️ Improve public health outcomes
➡️ Create circular systems where waste becomes value

One of my favorite parts of building this project was researching the intersection of sustainability, public health, and technology. It reinforced my belief that some of the most impactful innovations happen when we rethink existing systems instead of accepting them as they are.

A huge thank you to Sanjay Subbaraj, the HackAmerica team, the judges, mentors, and everyone who supported participants throughout the event. The experience was incredibly motivating and I’m grateful to have had the opportunity to build and share this idea.

As a student builder, moments like these remind me why I love creating projects that tackle real-world problems.

Looking forward to continuing the journey and building more technology that creates meaningful impact.
