Coding agents developed by AI LLM companies have clearly posed a new challenge to most wrapper products. The AI market is incredibly competitive right now, and it’s tough for tools built by individuals or smaller companies to outperform those fundamentally enhanced by LLMs.
In the future, we’ll definitely focus more on reviewing code rather than just writing it. Of course, reviewing code still requires solid fundamentals, but what’s even more important is the ability to organize thoughts and articulate them clearly.
In Japan’s lagging DX market, I still believe that engineers who know how to leverage AI tools don’t need to worry too much about job security—for now.

Growth like this is always nice to see. Kinda makes me wonder - what keeps stuff going long-term? Like, beyond just the early hype?
