Hi there. I'm a developer from Colombia, South America, with +30 years in development and IT stuff, I've seen appeared and vanished a lot of technologies. So here is my two cents: Keep your mind open, trying to learn something relevant each month (every day a little bit) so you can keep yourself updated and stay vigent/relevant in the market.

Hello , I’m 46 and i’m Transitioning from an iOS developer to JavaScript, I intend to start with front end frameworks such as react and angular, and move from there .
Message to Theo , you are amazing . I was personally trying to make games on a commodore c64 in the 80s , but it didn’t go so well , tech has changed a lot since then it’s crazy !

Hey fellow dev people,

Old-timer (38) here! "Found" dev.to a while back and it seemed like a nice and friendly community so here I am. Not sure if I am nice and friendly myself but sometimes it is possible to change.

I see myself as a full-stack developer, however, most work has been in back-end so far. Current focus is on headless technologies such as GatsbyJS in combination with DatoCMS. Always learning!

Looking into more freelance work alongside my full-time job to fulfill some of the things I can't do at work.

Hope to somehow contribute to this community!
