This weekend I started on a major revision of my personal site. The original is done with react and a couple libraries, but doesn't really feature anything other than static content. I've done a redesign in figma that features some more integrations (cough dev.to API π) that I hope will make the site more "visit worthy". I'm shooting for next week to be able to show the new repository here. I've also been considering live streaming the process, but we'll see about that π
I started working on an open source JavaScript calendar component this weekend. It's vanilla JS, so it's framework agnostic. Not ready for an initial release yet, but looking promising!
Kinda refreshing to hear about a plain old JavaScript component haha. Do you have a link for it?
Here it is so far:
joeattardi.github.io/atomical/
At the moment it's extraordinarily basic, with no documentation. Working on improving it and getting a "real" release done soon!
Released my beginner's workshop for HTML - I was initially planning on running a meetup, but I've made a simple webapp instead for it!
But where's the link!! I'd love to see it!
Ah, I thought it'd be a bit too shameless to promote - diveintoht.ml
I'm still dealing with a lot of self-consciousness regarding promoting my projectsπ
It's what the thread is for!! I love hearing about people's work and I hope I can help more people connect with others that are building cool things. π
