Day 17/90: Modules and namespaces
90 Day TypeScript Challenge: Zero to Production
Today I wanted modules and namespaces to feel like a real engineering decision, not a syntax demo. The useful shift was keeping domain behavior readable while the model gets stricter.
The checks that mattered were let the public interface explain what the object is responsible for, keep inheritance or composition aligned with a domain rule instead of a naming shortcut, and use typed methods to make invalid transitions awkward instead of convenient.
The failure mode I was actively trying to avoid was using classes or inheritance to organize files rather than model behavior. That is usually the moment a typed codebase starts looking safe while still carrying fuzzy contracts underneath.
I wanted modules and namespaces to read like a real engineering decision instead of a neat TypeScript demo.
That is the bar I want from the track: code that stays readable when requirements move, not just code that compiles today.
