Google's new embedding 2 preview model is a cracker. It can embed text, PDF, images, audio, and video. I just uploaded an article about it to the Towards Data Science blog. It's free to read (registration on the platform is free) and provides an introductory guide and sample Python code for processing and searching images and audio.
