xGift Complete Review: Upgraded Telegram Gifts Marketplace 2026

TL;DR. xGift is a Telegram bot marketplace for upgraded gifts (NFTs) with deep built-in analytics. The main edge over Portals, Tonnel and MRKT: floor, rarity, trait premium and sales history right in the bot UI. Fees 5% taker / 0% maker (premium subscription drops taker to 3%). TON-escrow safe, mid-2026 no known incidents. Fits both traders and collectors; minimum capital for serious flipping 1,000-2,000 TON. Part of the ton-adoption.xyz affiliate partner programme.

What upgraded Telegram gifts are

Quick context: in 2024 Telegram launched the “upgraded gifts” system. A user buys a gift in Telegram (for Stars), then “upgrades” it — converts it into a TON-blockchain NFT. After the upgrade the gift becomes transferable and collectible — with unique trait combinations (symbol, background, pattern).

By mid-2026 there are 50,000+ gift types and hundreds of thousands of instances. A formed NFT sub-market with clear value: each gift has fixed rarity (number minted), trait combinations (symbol, background, pattern) and a secondary floor price.

xGift is one of the main marketplaces for trading these gifts.

What sets xGift apart

1. Deep collection analytics

Open a collection (e.g. Plush Pepe) on xGift and you see:

  • Floor price in TON
  • Rarity distribution — how many gifts have each symbol × background × pattern combo
  • Top 30-day sales — what sold, for how much
  • Trait premium — how much a Backdrop A + Symbol B combo lifts the price
  • Holder analysis — top holders, recent large trades

This is Arkham/Nansen-grade analytics applied to Telegram gifts. Portals and Tonnel don’t expose this — only base floor and listings.

2. Inside-Telegram UI

The whole marketplace runs as a Telegram Mini App + bot. No browser, everything inside the Telegram client. This converts better — Telegram-first audiences don’t leave to a browser for purchases.

3. Premium subscription @xgift_premium

For 2-3 TON/month you get:

  • 3% taker fee instead of 5% (2% savings per purchase)
  • Push alerts on fresh listings below floor
  • Trait filters with saved searches
  • Priority support

Breaks even from ~40 TON of monthly volume. For serious traders — must-have.

4. Auctions

Beyond fixed-price listings, xGift supports auctions for rare gifts. 24-72 hours, minimum bump 5% of current price. Winner pays +5% taker fee.

Step-by-step buying on xGift

  1. Open @xgift in Telegram. Command /start.
  2. Connect wallet via TON Connect. Any of: Tonkeeper, MyTonWallet, Wallet-in-Telegram, Bitget Wallet.
  3. Browse collections. Menu → “Browse” → pick a collection (Plush Pepe, Diamond Ring etc.) or search by name.
  4. Filter. By symbol, background, price, mint date. Sort by floor/recent/rarity.
  5. Pick a gift. Open the specific gift card — see price, traits, seller, history.
  6. Buy. Tap “Buy”, confirm the TON Connect transaction in your wallet.
  7. Receive. NFT lands in your wallet in 30-60 seconds (TON finality + contract execution).
  8. View in Telegram. Your Telegram profile → Gifts → new gift visible.

Selling on xGift

  1. Menu → “My Gifts”. See all your gifts with current floor.
  2. Pick gift → “Sell”.
  3. Set price. Manually or “Set at floor +/- X%”.
  4. Confirm listing. On-chain tx (gift goes into xGift escrow contract).
  5. Wait for buyer. Notification on sale.

Suboptimal price — cancel listing (another tx) or edit price.

Fees and costs

Action Cost
Purchase (taker) 5% of price (3% with premium)
Listing (maker) 0%
Cancel listing TON gas only (~0.05 TON)
Auction — win 5% taker fee on final price

Comparison with competitors:

Marketplace Taker Maker Analytics
xGift 5% (3% prem) 0% deep

Tonnel 3-5% 0% medium
MRKT 2% 0% basic
Fragment 5-10% 0% basic
Getgems 2% 0% basic for gifts

Security

The good

  • Escrow smart contract. All trades route through a TON contract; seller can’t withdraw buyer’s TON without delivering the NFT. Technically safe.
  • TON Connect confirmation. All signatures go through your wallet, xGift never sees private keys.
  • Public audit trail. Every transaction visible on Tonscan/Tonviewer; history can’t be forged.

The bad

  • Phishing bots. Clones of @xgift_bot with similar names exist (@xgift_real_bot, @x-gift_bot, etc.) — they steal TON. Always verify: t.me/xgift_bot, not anything else.
  • Wash trading. Sellers sometimes use a second account to inflate “sales history” of a gift and create fake liquidity. Watch 30-day volume and unique buyers, not just sale count.
  • Floor spoofing. Cheap fake listings that disappear before your purchase (sniped). Common on pump-mode collections.

Mitigation

  • Use only the official URL @xgift_bot.
  • Don’t put 100% of capital into one collection — diversify across 5-10.
  • Check unique buyers / 30-day volume, not just floor.
  • Suspiciously cheap listings — usually scam or wash; skip.

Flipping strategies on xGift

Strategy 1: Pattern hunting

Using xGift analytics, find gifts with rare trait combos listed below trait premium. Buy, hold 2-8 weeks, relist at fair price.

Real case (January 2026): Plush Pepe with rare Backdrop “Ocean” + Symbol “Crown” combo listed for 8 TON (collection floor 6 TON). Trait premium for this combo per xGift analytics = +60-80%. Bought at 8, sold 3 weeks later at 13 TON. +62%.

Strategy 2: Trend-following

Subscribe to xGift Premium “volume spikes” alerts. Collection starts heating up (>50% 24h volume growth) — enter slightly above floor, ride the trend 1-3 weeks, exit at first cooling signs.

Strategy 3: Cross-platform arbitrage

Watchlist same gifts on xGift / Portals / Tonnel. Spread > 20% — buy on the cheap, list on the expensive. Margin covers 2× taker fee + gas + holding risk.

Strategy 4: Auction sniping

xGift auctions — snipers enter in the last minutes with small bumps. Target won at bottom of range — hold or relist.

Who the top flippers are

xGift shows top-N wallets by volume. Public information. Mid-2026 leaders earn 100-500 TON/month net of fees on 5,000-20,000 TON capital. Empirically 30-100% annual, but requires daily participation.

Want to learn — copy top wallets into watchlist, watch their trades, infer logic. Don’t fully copy with lag (you arrive late), but the patterns are educational.

Who xGift fits

  • Active gift traders: analytics + premium subscription make xGift the best tool on the market.
  • Collectors of specific collections: deep browse and trait filters let you find exactly what you want.
  • Casual buyers (1-2 gifts/year): works, but without premium the 5% margin matches Portals — go wherever’s more convenient.

Doesn’t fit:

  • Newcomers without TON: buy TON and set up a wallet first.
  • Authors monetising stickers/gifts: xGift is secondary, primary — Fragment.

Taxes for Russia

Standard for NFTs: profitable sale → 13% PIT on the spread. Keep purchase and sale tx hashes as proof of acquisition cost. Turnover >2.4M ₽/year — register as IP on USN 6%, 2-3× easier reporting.

More — Taxes on TON in Russia (RU, available in Russian only) and Taxes on gift flipping.

Bottom line

xGift is a working marketplace for upgraded Telegram gifts with the deepest built-in analytics among rivals. Standard fees (5% taker), premium subscription cuts them and adds trader tools. Safe via TON escrow contract; main risks are phishing bots with similar names and wash-trading manipulation (filter with common sense).

Active gift trader — xGift should be in your main toolkit alongside Portals and Tonnel. Casual 1-2 gift collector — pick by the specific gift price at the moment of purchase.
