After my first contact with a computer in the 1980's, I taught myself to program in BASIC and Z80 assembler. I went on to study Computer Science and have enjoyed a long career in Software Engineering.

I have an in depth and current understanding of web technologies. I have been writing Typescript for the last four years in conjunction with the Aurelia JS framework to develop a global application.

I have an active interest in web technologies but over the last few years, I have been learning the language Rust. This was largely the result of my interest in Web Assembly and compiled languages.
