This architecture is designed to support partitioned data management and distribute database workloads across internal components.
Rather than treating the database as one large, monolithic processing unit, we are developing LioranDB around a partition-aware architecture.
Our long-term goal is to improve concurrency, resource utilization, and scalability as workloads grow.
These internal nodes and partitions are part of the database architecture and should not be confused with four independent physical servers or an automatic high-availability guarantee.
Daily Backups With 7-Day Retention
A database is not just about storing documents or achieving high benchmark numbers.
Protecting application data is equally important.
That's why our dedicated instances include daily backups.
Our backup policy includes:
- One scheduled backup per day.
- A maximum of 7 retained backups.
- A retention period of 7 days.
