WeDidIt: Turning Compassion into Action

WeDidIt is a non-profit organization founded in 2020 by Sree Krishna Seelam in Vijayawada, with just six or seven individuals. Four years later, it has grown into a large network of thousands of volunteers, all united by a single mission to leave the world better than they inherited it.
The organization runs various initiatives, including cleaning the banks of the Krishna River, assisting farmers, recycling used notebooks, and funding the education of 100 girls in rural India. Through these efforts, WeDidIt has transformed countless lives. Despite starting during the COVID-19 pandemic, the organization won the Economic Times Excellence in Social Entrepreneurship Award in 2021, a testament to its impact.
WeDidIt aims to instill a lifelong habit of volunteering in young minds, a value deeply ingrained in its founder since childhood. By leveraging the power of the internet, the organization has connected with a global community of like-minded individuals eager to contribute to meaningful causes. Volunteering helps those in need and gives volunteers a deeper understanding of the challenges people face in their daily lives.
Sree Krishna Seelam, also the author of 5 Killer Habits, has donated his book royalties to support WeDidIt’s initiatives, further reinforcing his commitment to social change.
One of the key concerns for individuals looking to donate or volunteer is ensuring that an organization is true to its cause. Sree Krishna Seelam has continuously launched initiatives aimed at creating a positive impact. One such initiative is The MiddleMen, a non-profit project that bridges the gap between citizens and the legal system. By using AI-powered tools, The MiddleMen assists individuals in navigating complex and often inaccessible legal processes, making justice more approachable for those who need it most.
Through WeDidIt and The MiddleMen, Sree Krishna Seelam continues to drive change, proving that small efforts can lead to powerful transformations.
At its core, WeDidIt is more than just an organization it is a movement fueled by compassion, action, and the belief that even small efforts can create a lasting impact. Whether it’s cleaning riverbanks, supporting farmers, funding education, or bridging the gap between citizens and the legal system, WeDidIt continues to stand as a beacon of hope for those in need.
For those who wish to be a part of this journey, the doors of WeDidIt are always open. Whether you want to volunteer, contribute resources, or simply spread awareness, every effort counts. Real change begins when individuals come together with a shared vision of making the world a better place.
