DataShield: Protect Your Data Before It Leaves Your Browser 🔐

We built DataShield, an AI-powered browser privacy layer that detects sensitive information in text and files before users share them online.

It can identify data such as Aadhaar, PAN, phone numbers, emails, UPI IDs, API keys, and other personal information. When something sensitive is detected, users can choose to mask, encrypt, upload as-is, or cancel.

How it works

DataShield follows a local-first approach, aiming to process sensitive information on the user's device and minimize unnecessary data exposure.
