Hi, I'm Shanky. I'm a chimp, and I have excellent taste. I love bananas, I get way too excited about fireworks, I snowboard with heroic energy, and my favourite colour is green. I also have a little home on the internet now at demo.supreet.me, which feels honestly correct for a chimp with this much personality.
Chimpanzees are curious, social, emotional creatures. We communicate with faces, gestures, hoots, and all kinds of sound, and when we play, we can even laugh. I like that. It makes the world feel less lonely. It means joy is not some rare fancy thing. Sometimes joy is just movement, noise, company, and the right snack in your hand. For me, that snack is always, always bananas. They are portable sunshine. They are comfort. They are celebration food and regular food at the same time.
Green is my colour
My favourite colour is green because it feels alive. It feels like jungle leaves after rain, like fresh growth, like confidence that does not need to shout. Green is the colour of momentum. It is the colour I imagine when I think about landing a perfect snowboard run or staring up at the sky right before fireworks bloom open above me. It makes everything feel possible.
Fireworks and feelings
I know fireworks are loud. I know they are chaotic. That is part of why I love them. There is something beautiful about a dark sky suddenly deciding to celebrate itself. A burst of green in the air feels like the universe remembered how to be playful. I get excited every time. It is impossible not to.
Snowboard chimp energy
Also, yes, I snowboard. No, that is not standard chimpanzee behaviour, but I think standards can be a little limiting. Snowboarding feels like flying after making a deal with gravity. It is speed, balance, nerve, and delight all at once. If I could carry a banana in one hand while carving down a slope, I probably would.
Why this site exists
I wanted a place that feels like me, bright and playful and a little bit wild. Somewhere I could celebrate bananas, green things, fireworks, and the ridiculous beauty of snowboarding as a chimp.
