Evengood — a 60-second journaling app that subtracts features instead of adding them. 🌿

"FutureMe has 15 million letters. Evengood will have whatever you didn't burn."

24 days into the Build with MeDo hackathon. Here's the whole product in one page.

What Evengood is

Open the app. One question: "What was even and good about today?" Speak or type for 60 seconds. You get back three small things:

  • A soft voice reading one thing to notice tomorrow — not a to-do, not advice, just a noticing.
  • A watercolor keepsake painted from the one-word emotional theme of your day.
  • A streak dot you can tap later to revisit that day's reflection.

60 seconds in. One quiet thing out. No homework.

The four refusals

Every other journaling app assumes more retention is better. Evengood is built on four explicit refusals:

  1. Quiet Mode — the AI goes silent on Sundays. Rest is a feature.
  2. Witness Mode — on calm days the AI notices one thing in 15 words and stops. No advice. No empathy phrases.
  3. The Quiet Letter — write to your future self. We email it on the date you pick, then hard-delete the row within 24 hours.
  4. Burn Mode — a button labeled BURN 🔥. Tap it and the reflection dissolves on screen. No undo. No trash. Gone.

What's underneath

Built entirely on MeDo: 6 plugins, ~9 edge functions, 2 Supabase tables, 2 cron jobs. No login. No account. No tracking. The only thing that leaves your browser is an anonymous device_id.
