While sharing Stoqyy publicly, one response stood out to me today:
“This is something I might very much need.”
That single line validated why I started building this product.
Stoqyy exists because many small businesses still manage:
- Sales in one app
- Inventory in notebooks or spreadsheets
- Profits by gut feeling
As developers, it’s easy to over-engineer solutions. But building Stoqyy has been about doing the opposite—reducing cognitive load.
The Core Principle
Every decision in Stoqyy comes back to one question:
Can a business owner understand their situation in seconds?
From a technical standpoint, that means:
- Fewer UI states
- Clear data models
- Real-time but calm dashboards
- Performance that works on low-end devices
Why Build in Public?
Sharing early helps surface real-world feedback faster than assumptions ever could. Comments like today’s aren’t about validation—they’re about direction.
They tell me I’m working on a real pain, not an imagined one.
What’s Next
Still refining flows.
Still simplifying screens.
Still listening.
