How Do You Validate an RJ45 Connector Before Production?

What's your go-to test list when validating a new RJ45 connector design? I've been compiling the essentials:

• Insertion loss / return loss
• HiPot (especially for PoE)
• Contact resistance before/after stress
• Mating cycle durability
• Thermal shock and vibration
