VORG: Decentralized company and domain name registry

Nowadays, it is not troublesome that start a company. We only need to provide relevant materials and a small amount of funds to relevant institutions on the Internet to start a company. Even so, there are some troubles:

  1. Have to consider where the company will be founded based on the business.
  2. Have to provide a variety of materials.
  3. Subject to policy restrictions in some countries or regions.
  4. It may be necessary to pay a management fee annually.

So let me introduce you VORG.
VORG is a decentralized Virtual ORGanization ans domain name registrar built upon the Ethereum. Virtual organization refers to individuals, groups, teams, organizations, companies, etc.
In other words, it provides a global decentralized alternative to the registration of companies or organizations in the real world.

As a start-up team, it has financing demand. And as an investor, it has investment demand. Therefore, in VORG, you can increase capital and shares for your team, and trade shares with others.
Companies today generally have their own website. Which means they need to register a domain name and have to pay annually to keep owning it. Therefore, VORG also provides domain name registration service, and its domain name is the virtual organization name with the suffix .v. And once a virtual organization is registered, unless you go bankrupt, you own this domain name forever.

We will see how to start a virtual organization, how to increase its capital and shares, how to trade shares and how to configure DNS below.

Start a virtual organization
Step 1. Visit the homepage of VORG: https://vorg.io. On this page, you can input the virtual organization name and press Enter to search for the corresponding virtual organization information.

Step 2. Click SIGNIN to log in, only Metamask is supported temporarily.

Step 3. Click CREATE to create a new virtual organization.

Step 4. After clicking the Create button to submit and paying the gas fee, you will be redirected to the user page (it may take some time to create a new virtual organization).

Increase registered capital and shares
Step 1. Click on the virtual organization name as shown above to the virtual organization details page.

Step 2. Click the Increase Capital&Shares button to increase capital and shares.

Step 3. Click the Submit button to submit the capital increase and share expansion request. The page will back to the organization details page after paying gas fees.

Share trading
Step 1. Click Sell as show above to sell shares.

Step 2. After clicking Submit and paying the gas fees, the page backs to the organization details page.

Step 3. Use another account to access the organization details page.

Step 4. After clicking button Buy, fill in the purchase information.

Step 5. Click Submit and complete the payment, the page will back to the organization details page.

Configure DNS
Step 1. Login as owner account and access virtual organization detail page.

Step 2. Click DNS button to enter DNS configuration page.

Step 3. Click ADD button to add resource records for your domain name. For now, only type A is supported, and more types will be supported in the future.

Step 4. Click Submit button to submit the request. And in order to be able to access our domain name, we need to download a DNS Router.

Step 5. Unzip and launch VORG DNS Router. If you are Mac, you have to change system settings to allow to execute router. Router will not show any window. When you launch the router, you will receive a notification.

Step 6. Our domain name can now be accessed by a browser as shown below:

And everyone can visit http://vorg.v to verify whether the current operating system can access the .v domain names. If you exit the router, the VORG domain will not be accessible.
