Apparently, in the big 2026, we live in a world where knowing who your co-workers are is a fireable offense.
This actually happened at Pinterest, where after laying off 15% of the 4700 people that work there to focus on an AI-forward approach, the CEO refused to tell the remaining co-workers who had been fired. And almost immediately after, two engineers took it upon themselves to create a script to find out which employees got fired. And when they did just that and started sharing it around, well, they got fired as well.
