As part of the continuous evolution of the digital services, we developed a custom Events & News management and presentation platform connected with Framer CMS through an intermediate API Layer.
Why an intermediate API Layer was created
Framer CMS Integration
Framer CMS is used as the primary content management source. In order for the content to be distributed securely, efficiently and flexibly across websites, mobile applications and third-party platforms, an intermediate API Layer was developed.
The API Layer acts as a bridge between Framer CMS and the applications consuming the content. It handles data collection, organization and distribution in a stable and optimized format, without requiring applications to communicate directly with Framer.
Custom Node.js Architecture
The intermediate service was developed using Node.js and custom REST endpoints, allowing dynamic delivery of news, events, featured content, detail pages and image galleries.
With this approach, content is synchronized, temporarily stored in an intermediate data layer and quickly distributed to frontend systems. This reduces dependency on live requests to Framer while improving the overall stability of the platform.
API Layer Security & Performance
Special attention was given to both security and performance. Public access is delivered through secure HTTPS connections, while the service is protected through controlled access, request limiting, managed content delivery and additional server-level protection mechanisms.
To improve performance, caching mechanisms, data compression, optimized database queries and synchronization handling were implemented, ensuring fast and reliable content delivery across multiple devices and applications.
PHP API Client for Content Rendering
Alongside the API Layer, a custom PHP API Client was developed for easy content integration into websites and web applications.
The PHP Client is responsible for retrieving and rendering news and event listings, displaying detail pages based on each article’s unique identifier, as well as handling image galleries, modal windows and frontend navigation functionality for end users.
Events & News Management
The platform supports upcoming events, past events, news articles, featured content and image galleries. Content can be distributed across multiple digital channels while maintaining a consistent structure and unified viewing experience.
The solution was designed with scalability in mind, allowing future expansion with additional functionalities, new content types and multiple distribution points.
Improved User Experience
At the presentation level, special emphasis was placed on clean content rendering, mobile responsiveness, fast image loading, dynamic modal windows and smooth navigation between articles and image galleries.
The result is a flexible and reliable content infrastructure suitable for hotels, resorts, travel services and brands requiring organized digital content presentation.
Digital solutions tailored to each brand
Every digital platform we develop is designed according to the real needs of each project, combining aesthetics, functionality, security and high performance within a unified content ecosystem.
We develop custom digital platforms, middleware APIs and Framer CMS integrations for hotels, resorts and professional hospitality services.
