"Code from anywhere." vs. "No VPN, no port forwarding, no infrastructure between you and the code." — A headline audit for remote dev tools

zedra.dev gives AI coding agents a direct tunnel to your development environment — no VPN, no port forwarding, no infrastructure setup between the agent and the code. It's designed for developers who want their AI coding tool (Cursor, Copilot, Claude Code) to run against their actual environment from any machine.

Their hero headline: "Code from anywhere."

It's clean. It names the aspiration. It names exactly zero of the friction it removes.

Here's the frame the buyer arrives with: they've tried to get their AI coding agent to connect to a remote dev environment. Either it won't connect without VPN credentials they'd rather not expose, or it requires port forwarding that breaks every time they switch networks, or the setup assumes infrastructure control they don't have. They're not landing on zedra.dev thinking "I want to code from anywhere." They're thinking: "my agent can't reach my dev environment without a VPN I don't control."

"Code from anywhere" is the post-purchase state. The buyer is buying the end of three specific friction points.

We ran the landing page through our heading audit engine. Finding: aspiration-first H1. "Code from anywhere" names the destination without naming the blockers being removed. The developer's buying frame is barrier-removal, not aspiration.

The rewrite

Before: "Code from anywhere."
After: "Your AI coding agent runs on any machine from anywhere — direct tunnel, no VPN, no port forwarding, no infrastructure between you and the code."

Three words became 22. Every word after the em-dash names a specific blocker that disappears.

The pattern: remote dev tools almost always lead with the positive outcome ("from anywhere," "on any machine," "always available") rather than the negative situation they terminate. But the developer didn't show up to be inspired. They showed up because their AI coding agent can't reach their environment without a VPN or port forwarding setup they hate. Lead with what stops.
