I got tired of explaining the same project conventions each time I switched coding agents or started a new session. So I built Synapse.
With Synapse, you can save a decision or correction in one agent and recall it in another. Keep global preferences alongside project-specific context, maintain one library of reusable skills, and configure MCP servers in one place.
It also includes a secrets vault with project-scoped access, so you can manage credentials without copying tokens into each tool’s configuration.
Synapse supports Claude Code, Codex, pi, and Ainz. Your saved memory stays on your machine, and you can inspect, edit, export, or delete it. It’s open source under the MIT license, with no account required.
A simple example: tell one agent to use Bun for a project, save that convention, then have another agent recall it when you pick up the work.

How are you handling shared context when you work across coding agents?
