I will advocate for gender equality by continuing to hire women software engineers and paying and promoting them in symmetry with their male colleagues. I will continue to sponsor events like Rails Girls.
Outside of work I will continue to work with the girls and boys at the code club at my son’s school.
I hope to see my work achieve gender balance in hiring and in promotion to leadership.
My advice for fellow allies is hire more women, support their voices in meetings and online. Sponsor community events and invitatives. Get involved with education too!
