You forgot about one of the most important shortcuts: Windows + left/right arrow key makes it easy to move the currently focused window over the screen. You can create a perfect split screen for two applications using this sequence:

Windows + left arrow
alt + tab
Windows + right arrow

I totally miss that feature on Mac OS.

"I actually never understood the hatred for Windows 8 and 8.1 and the large start menu. To me it was just a big friendly searchable start screen. But I guess I was the only person in the world that liked it."

No, I liked it too. I used Windows 8 the same way I used Windows 7 and using Windows 10 now. Just hit the Windows key and start typing.
I was wondering about the comments regarding the full screen start menu. And then I discovered the launchpad on Mac OS which everybody seems to love. In my opinion the launchpad is nothing else then a full screen start menu on the Mac. Of course, I love it as well.

Thank you for your comment.

Yes, Alt+Tab is an absolute must.

MacOS has split screen (as of Sierra I believe) but it does not work as smoothly as on Windows.

I never use launchpad on Mac, I run everything from Spotlight.
