Gratitude Unleashed: Celebrating a Week of Stellar Contributions to Before I Die Code

The following comes from my LinkedIn post to document the contributors to my open-source project, Before I Die Code.

Another week of contributor’s assistance from around the world 🗺️ in the Open Source project Before I Die Code.

GitHub Before I Die Code Repo

Star ⭐️ the repo and fork 🍴 to get involved in open source today! Let’s keep sharing our dreams 🌅. Have a great rest of your work week!

👏🏻 I am happy to thank the following contributors for enhancing the Before I Die Code this past week.

👨‍💻Daniel Barker from Arlington, Virginia, USA 🇺🇸 His statement is to travel the states with my dog and bring him to every dog park and trail he can find until his time comes to an end. He’s been his best friend for eight years and he wants to make sure he has the best life possible.

👨‍💻Sherif Amer from Brooklyn, New York, USA 🇺🇸 His before he dies statement is to get a van and travel across the states. Additionally, Shrief assisted with code cleanup, bringing to the attention how the Arabic language is written from right to left and adding into the translated Arabic code this fix and additionally adding a location map feature to display contributor’s locations using Google Maps Javascript API and geocoding API. Much appreciated, and great work on execting this feature to MVP.

👩‍💻Momina Rezai from Baku, Azerbaijan 🇦🇿 Her before I die statement is to open a coffee shop with a tech-related theme. Additionally, she is helping with language translation for the IP address changes.

👨‍💻Meet Thakur from Aligarh, India, for his assistance in helping translate the text before I die into 49 other languages that will then be displayed depending on where a user’s IP address is in the world.

A big shoutout to front-end developer 👩‍💻Negar Nasiri from Lisbon, Portugal 🇵🇹 for her huge enhancement to the header section of the website and for adding dynamic design to the website. I am very grateful for her time in researching and adding this enhancement to the site, which will continue to grow in creativity and UI enhancement.

👨‍💻Nawaraj Karki from Dharan, Nepal🇳🇵 for enhancing the contributor guidelines documentation.

👨‍💻Yordan Trivada Bian from Bekasi, Indonesia 🇮🇩 assisted with translating the documentation into Arabic.

👨‍💻Angel Soto from Brandon, Florida, for helping add a Random generator feature to thank our contributors.

👨‍💻Simardeep Singh from Calgary, Canada 🇨🇦 for adding the docker file and YAML capability and making it so the code can now be set up in your local dev server by running docker compose up.

👨‍💻Marciano Ngaaiman from Roosendaal, Netherlands 🇳🇱 for creating the project’s first React Router path to display a contributors page with randomized colors and linking it to contributors’ GitHub profiles.

Thank you all for helping Before I Die Code 🚀 grow this week. This is the perfect project to get involved with #Hacktoberfest2023, and we welcome all eager contributors to contribute to the open-source community and grow a meaningful project.
