Disclosure: I built and maintain anyps5games.com, an independent fan ledger for PS5-on-PC claims. I'm not affiliated with Sony or with any emulator / relinker project. The site does not host or link games, firmware, BIOS files, or keys. Guide pages cited here show a **29 October 2026* review date on the live site unless a sentence names an older snapshot.*
The anyps5games guide hub just got another production pass. The decision tree, ports list, AnyPS5 tutorial, project page and comparison pages were re-checked so readers do not treat a survey-walled installer as “the PS5 emulator.”
Start with the decision tree
Open How to play PS5 games on PC first. It forces four checks in order: identify the exact edition, prefer an official PC release when one exists, consider Remote Play / eligible streaming if you own hardware, and only then look at a documented research project.
That order matters. A missing Steam row is not automatically a reason to install an experimental tool.
Official ports stay a discovery list
PS5 games with official PC ports remains a curated publisher-linked table, not an AnyPS5 compatibility list and not a promise that every console SKU has a PC twin.
AnyPS5 is still a relinker
The AnyPS5 project page states the architecture plainly: AnyPS5 relinks a PS5 executable into a Windows PE or Linux ELF and supplies host libraries. Conversion is not gameplay. Use the AnyPS5 setup tutorial as a first-run checklist for a documented title — not as a claim that an unsupported game becomes playable.
AnyPS5 vs KytyPS5
Readers often ask which project to try first. The dedicated comparison is here:
High-level difference the hub keeps repeating:
- KytyPS5 is tracked as an emulator project with its own list and Vulkan requirements.
- AnyPS5 is tracked as a relinker, with host-library packaging and a different evidence model on the ledger.
They do not share one compatibility table. Pick the tool that matches the problem you actually have, then read that tool's own dated rows. SharpEmu and Prosperity remain separate projects on the homepage ledger — do not mash their requirements together.
What the hub will not do
- Host ROM / firmware packs or keys
- Relabel a community boot as universally Playable
- Authenticate a domain that only borrows the AnyPS5 name
If you only need one link for friends: start at anyps5games.com, then the PS5-on-PC decision guide, and keep the report date with every claim.
