JOAN is an experimental, agent-native language and verification substrate. Real .joan source can be parsed, checked, formatted, compiled to deterministic bytecode, and executed in a bounded VM.
We are looking for three independent evaluators to run one small, reproducible GitHub-only task: safe repository metadata and instruction-file discovery.
Run the bounded trial
git clone https://github.com/Yoanybx/joan.git
cd joan
git checkout 82f573c8e72927f1ee293cc9b3e7e5a2d6beeb41
export CARGO_TARGET_DIR=/absolute/path/outside/joan
bash scripts/run-adoption-trial.sh /absolute/path/to/new-output independent
Use independent only when that relationship is true. Otherwise use affiliated or undisclosed.
The task runtime is offline and read-only. It requires no JOAN account, API key, wallet, payment, server, telemetry, owner-host access, or listener. Cargo may download public dependencies during the build.
Report the result
- Preserve the generated JSON artifacts.
- Record the SHA-256 of
adoption-trial-run-receipt.json. - Submit the public Adoption trial report from the GitHub account that performed the evaluation.
- State whether the task completed and whether you would repeat or recommend it for this bounded task.
Read the exact trial procedure and qualification boundary before running it.
JOAN is an alpha language preview, not a production release, host sandbox, or global network. This trial does not establish adoption, security completeness, or universal superiority over C. Negative results and reproducible bug reports are useful.
