Do your own startup George? Or at least create your own products solutions and try to sell them? I read some of your posts and obviously you have a strong ability and interest in development. Thing is - nobody cares about what you do, and more about as you say, wanting it done yesterday.
Kind of why I went on a different path from consulting. But it takes a lot more time than I thought. Anyway, have a good day.

I've worked lots in both environments and they are both exactly the same: they want it done yesterday (and then are surprised the quality is poor)
