I'm fortunate to have another great pair partner on today's sprint. We're working on n-Queens and we're bumping up against the limits of jotting down diagrams to hold up to the camera.
I mentioned in the last post the tool Excalidraw.com, and while we've been able to use that to share ideas by creating our own images and sharing our screens with each other, it's pretty clunky for quickly evolving ideas.
So paper, pen, and angling our creations to the computer camera has been the prevailing method for sharing visual ideas. Not cute.
It's time to get a whiteboard. I can foresee some problems with board visibility. But I imagine that clever computer/camera positioning combined with large drawings and fresh markers (bold lines) can mitigate visibility issues. We'll see.
