What I Built
CET Counsellor is an AI agent that helps Maharashtra engineering students navigate the confusing world of MHT-CET and JEE admissions — CAP rounds, category-wise cutoffs, required documents, and more.

The Problem
Every year, lakhs of students appear for MHT-CET. But the CAP admission process is genuinely confusing — multiple rounds, 13 seat categories, different documents for each, and cutoffs that change every year. I went through this myself this year, and I know how stressful it is.
How Sanity Powers It
The knowledge base is structured in Sanity with:
•201 colleges — Pune and Mumbai region
•555+ branches — CS, IT, AI & Data Science, ML, Cyber Security
•CAP Round 1, 2 & 3 official data
Tech Stack
Frontend: React + TanStack
CMS: Sanity (Project ID: o1nu2vvm, dataset: production)
Deployment: Lovable
What I Learned
Building this as a first-year CSE student on mobile only — no laptop — taught me that the idea matters more than the tools. Sanity made it possible to structure complex admission data in a way that actually helps students.
The Struggle Was Real
I built this entire project on mobile only — no laptop, no terminal, no local development environment. Credits ran out multiple times, the deployed site went down hours before the deadline, and I almost gave up.
But I didn't.
Because every Maharashtra student who has gone through the CAP process knows the confusion is real. That kept me going.
