How a Perfume Inspired Me to Build a Product Landing Page Template

Have you ever encountered a product so well-crafted that it sparked a design idea? For me, it was Shaghaf Vanilla Toffee by Swiss Arabian (EDP 75ml) — a fragrance that effortlessly balances sweet gourmand warmth with subtle elegance.

And I thought: what if this scent had a landing page that captured its essence in code?

🎯 The Inspiration
Shaghaf Vanilla Toffee is a unisex perfume that blends vanilla, caramel toffee, and woody notes. It's warm, inviting, and modern — a sensory experience wrapped in a golden bottle.

I imagined a landing page that would:

  • Reflect the luxury and richness of the scent
  • Feel as clean and elegant as the bottle design
  • Have a modern vanilla-toffee color palette (think creamy whites, gold accents, warm browns)

🧩 The Template
So, I built a Vanilla Toffee Product Page Template — perfect for perfumes, cosmetics, or boutique products. Here's what it includes:

  • 💎 Hero Section with a full-width product image and glowing title
  • 🧾 Product Description area with collapsible ingredients and scent notes
  • 💬 Customer Reviews module (built in React)
  • 🎨 Customizable Palette with warm tones (CSS variables ready!)
  • 🌙 Optional dark mode toggle for moody aesthetic fans

Bonus: Designed mobile-first, optimized for beauty e-commerce.

🧱 Built With

  • React + Tailwind CSS for rapid UI building
  • Framer Motion for smooth animations
  • Headless UI for interactive dropdowns and modals

Jumping in on this older post because I'm curious how others find design ideas from everyday stuff. I’ve had random objects spark layout ideas too, but I never thought to turn them into full templates. Does anyone else keep a list of “inspiration moments” to revisit later, or do you just build things as the idea hits?

I had the same struggle picking full bottles, so I started ordering small decants first. Grabbing a few from decantsample.com/ made it way easier to test stuff without wasting money, and everything I got was legit and strong, not watered down. It’s also handy for travel since you can toss a couple of tiny vials in your bag and try different scents on the go.
