Is Lombok already a standard for java project development?

Have you used it in your company's project development?

We have used it in the past (and still use it on some projects) and never encountered any issues, if used for the 'right' subset (e.g. not var).
Question is whether it makes much sense to bend java for greenfield project like this when kotlin is a mature drop in replacement.

No. It had a lot of potential a decade ago, but there's no benefit to use it nowadays compared to another dedicated language, e.g., Kotlin.
