Recently I had a bunch
of HEIC photos sent from an iPhone,
but I needed them in PNG format for design and documentation.
On Windows, this can be surprisingly annoying if you don't want
to install extra software or plugins.
After trying a few approaches, I ended up using a simple
online tool that converts HEIC to PNG directly in the browser.
No signup, no watermark, and it worked well even with multiple files.
What I like most is:
- No installation required
- Works on Windows and macOS
- Clean output quality
If you often deal with Apple photos in non-Apple environments,
this approach can save a lot of time.
