Hi everyone,
I work as a marketer at a web agency in Korea, and our team recently started building a small HTML website template store for international users.
We are trying to make templates that are easy to customize without relying on heavy website builders. The templates are mainly for small businesses, portfolios, service pages, and landing pages.
But after launching the site, we noticed that the response has been very weak. There is very little traffic and almost no purchases.
So I’d like to ask from a developer/user perspective:
What makes an HTML template actually useful to you?
Is clean code more important than visual design?
Do you care more about documentation, section structure, responsive layout, or customization examples?
What would make you trust a new template website?
And what would make you leave immediately?
I’m not trying to promote the site aggressively. I’m trying to understand what we should improve before creating more templates.
If anyone has experience buying, using, or building HTML templates, I’d really appreciate your honest feedback.
