School project

I'm in my final year of school, and we have to complete an annual project. Since I'm in the computer science class, my project should be related to computer science. I've already created Flashy Start — an app for learning with flashcards, which I published on Google Play (it was an experiment) — and now I have no idea what to do.

Congrats on publishing your app! I've been coding professionally for 10+ years and still haven't done that. 😆

From experience, I see a consistent theme in every single "great" project I see:

It solves a problem close to home.

This is usually less about the project itself and more about how well you understand the problem in the first place. It's impossible to start building anything if you can't first understand the the problem you're trying to solve. Also, the more important that solution is to you, the more invested you'll be in the outcome.

It can be quite literally anything! I always end up with a new project any time I think something like "my life would be <easier/simpler/more fun> if I had a button that could <insert random thing>". Discord bot? Chat app? Web site? Desktop plugin? Dev tool? Silly game to waste time?

Whichever project you pick, it really doesn't matter as much as you'd expect!
