I was refreshing my GitHub profile README and got tired of having to embed two separate cards (one for general stats and another for top languages). Most existing options also felt dated in terms of design and layout.
I put together a lightweight dynamic SVG generator using Next.js App Router and hosted it on Vercel.
Key points:
- Combines core stats (Stars, Commits, PRs, Contribs, Forks) and top languages into a single card.
- Server-generated SVG without headless browser dependencies.
- Configurable accent/glow color via URL query parameter.
- Cached using Vercel edge headers (s-maxage=3600) to mitigate rate limits.
