Instagram does not make it easy to watch other public accounts. Most follower trackers need your login or only cover your own account.
I built a small Apify tool for the case where you just want to watch many public profiles and see what changed.
What it does
- You give it a list of public Instagram profiles.
- It returns follower and following counts, and, compared with your last run, the growth in numbers and in percent, new posts, bio edits and posting pace.
- No login, no cookies. It only reads what a logged-out visitor can see.
What it does not do
- Private accounts, and anything behind a login (such as who exactly followed whom), are out of reach.
- Instagram sometimes answers with "too many requests". The tool waits and retries, but a run can still fail. If it does, run it again later.
Why "since last run" matters
Most scrapers return a full snapshot every time, and you have to diff it yourself. Here the tool keeps the last numbers and only reports the difference, so you can schedule it daily and get a short list.
