Meta Just Launched Muse: Does It Actually Remember You?
On September 8, Meta launched Muse, a personal AI agent that can shop online, manage your email, book travel, and even make payments on your behalf. It is the centerpiece of Meta's push into what Mark Zuckerberg calls "personal superintelligence," and it is available in the US to start, through a dedicated app and WhatsApp.

What Muse's memory does
According to Meta and the early coverage, Muse has a memory and is supposed to learn your preferences as you express them. Meta says you can inspect, edit, and download these files freely, including Muse's memory about you, and you can tell Muse to forget specific things it has learned.

The limitation: it is trapped inside Meta's world
