Creating a website using Canva in 10 minutes is actually much easier now than most people think. Canva is no longer just a graphic design tool — it also lets you build simple, visually clean websites without coding.

The best part is that it’s beginner-friendly, so even small business owners or creators with zero technical experience can launch a basic website quickly.

Here’s the simple process most people follow:

  1. Choose a Website Template
Canva already has ready-made templates for portfolios, agencies, restaurants, ecommerce promotions, events, and personal brands.

  2. Customize the Design
    You can edit:

  • Colors
  • Fonts
  • Images
  • Buttons
  • Layouts
  • Brand elements

…using simple drag-and-drop tools.

  1. Add Important Sections Usually:
  • Homepage banner
  • About section
  • Services/products
  • Testimonials
  • Contact information
  • Social media links
  1. Optimize for Mobile
Canva automatically helps with responsive layouts, but it’s still important to preview the mobile version before publishing.

  2. Publish the Website
    You can publish directly using:

  • Free Canva domain
  • Custom domain connection
  • Embedded links

For quick landing pages, portfolios, event pages, or startup MVPs, Canva websites work surprisingly well.

That said, for long-term SEO, advanced ecommerce, or complex functionality, businesses usually move later to platforms like WordPress, Shopify, or custom-built websites because Canva websites have limited SEO and scalability features.

Still, for launching something quickly, testing ideas, or building an online presence fast, Canva is honestly one of the easiest tools available right now.
