The problem I kept running into

The problem I kept running into

Every time I needed to convert units — inches to centimeters, pounds to kilograms, Celsius to Fahrenheit — I ended up on a slow, ad-filled website.

Pop-ups. Banner ads. "Please sign up for free." "Upgrade to pro for 5 more conversions."

I just wanted to convert 10 miles to kilometers. Not create an account.

So I built my own

I created EveryUnitConverter.com — a unit converter that does exactly one thing and does it well.

What it offers:

350+ unit types across 47 categories
Length, weight, temperature, volume, cooking, area, speed, time, and more
Instant results as you type
No ads, no pop-ups, no distractions
No signup, no email, no tracking
Works on desktop and mobile

Why I kept it free

I built this tool for myself first. Then I realized other people probably have the same frustration.

So I decided to keep it completely free. Forever.

No "freemium" tier. No ads. No data collection. Just a clean, fast unit converter that anyone can use without jumping through hoops.

The tech stack
HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript (ES6)
Responsive design (works on any device)
No backend — everything runs in the browser

Try it out

If you ever need to convert units for work, school, DIY projects, or cooking, give it a try:

EveryUnitConverter.com

No signup. No ads. Just results.

Feedback is welcome. Let me know what unit categories you would like me to add next.

Built for developers, DIYers, students, and anyone who needs fast, accurate unit conversions.
