At one time, everyone was looking for free pictures to add to their blog posts. We now have sites like Unsplash and other places that provide this sort of resources.
What other such resources do you find yourselves needing often and where do you find them?

Time. It's quite difficult to fabricate but it can be taken.
Time is indeed the one finite resource we can't get more of. Unless Cyberpunk 2077 gets real and we all become cyborgs. Might explain why Keanu looks unchanged :D
You can though free time by automatizing repetitive tasks, paying other people to do menial tasks and hiring a team.
Your observations on how to free up time are spot on and important for any dev to keep in mind. Knowing how and when to automate can mean sucess vs. failure in some cases. Any Agile dude can tell you. It's one more reason to love python, as well. Having said that, I still end up stealing time away from, what do the humans call it? oh yes ... sleep.
To respond more in alignment with your op. I would say, game developers, more than most, depend on having art assets at the ready. A good game programmer needs the support of a good artist. This is axiomatic.
Are you one of those game developer? I do hang around a few creative communities where there are some great artists.
P.S. This portal needs a better way to communicate between users. I read mentions of Direct Messages, but I can't find anything on how to enable them. Help us, Ben Halpern, you're our only hope.
