Cheap Google Workspace Resellers in India: Legit or Not?

If you're setting up business email for a startup or small team in India, you've probably noticed Google Workspace pricing swings a lot depending on where you buy it. Google's own direct price runs roughly $8/user/month for Business Starter, before GST. Search around, and you'll find resellers offering the identical product for $1.50 to $7. Same Gmail, same Drive, same Docs, same admin console. Just a different number depending on who's selling it.

I looked into why, and whether "cheap" here is a legitimate deal or a sign of something shady.

The mechanism, not a workaround

Google runs an actual partner program: authorized resellers buy Workspace licenses at wholesale rates, below what Google charges customers signing up directly, then set their own retail price on top. Some pass most of that margin back to the customer and make money on volume. Others price closer to Google's own rate. Either way, it's the identical product underneath, not a downgraded version.

3 options I checked against their own pricing pages

Leads Monky publishes Business Starter at $3/user/month under 300 users, dropping to $2.50/user/month at 300+, Standard at $13, Plus at $20. Setup, domain verification, and migration are stated as included in onboarding, and there's no minimum user count required to access the pricing.

ResellerClub, which has actual Indian roots and runs a dedicated India-facing site, prices Business Starter at ₹249/user/month specifically for the Indian market, roughly $3/user at typical exchange rates. Makes sense if you're already on ResellerClub for domains or hosting and want one invoice.

F60 Host has the lowest headline number, reported as low as $1.50/user/month. Two things worth flagging before defaulting to the cheapest option: independent reviews report inconsistent pricing across F60's own pages (get the actual number in writing), and they've advertised a one-time "lifetime" payment for permanent Workspace access.

Why the "lifetime" offer is a hard no, not a find
This is worth its own section because it's the single clearest red flag in this space. Google bills resellers regularly, forever, for every active license. There's no version of "pay once, own it forever" that a reseller can actually sustain without eventually losing money on your account. If you see this offer anywhere, in this market or any other, treat it as disqualifying rather than lucky.

Checklist before picking any of these

1. Does the price survive the first renewal, or is it a bait rate that jumps later?
2. Do you get full admin console access, not partial control?
3. Is setup genuinely bundled in, or a separate cost you discover after signup?
4. Does the deal involve a one-time "lifetime" payment? (If yes, walk away.)
