Why a "verified" badge should point to MOHRE or Musaned, not to us.
Finding a domestic worker in the Gulf usually starts with a WhatsApp number from a friend or a Facebook group. Families rarely know whether the office on the other end is licensed, and by the time they find out, they have often paid.
We built GCC Domestic to make one thing simple: before you contact an agency, you should be able to see whether a government lists it.
One rule: the badge points to the government, not to us
Every UAE agency on GCC Domestic links to its own record on MOHRE, the UAE Ministry of Human Resources & Emiratisation. In Saudi Arabia, the 800+ offices that Musaned lists link to their Musaned registration. Offices we cannot match to a register are still listed, but without a verified badge.
That is a deliberate choice. A badge we invent ourselves is only as good as our word. A link to the ministry's own record is something a family can check in ten seconds without trusting us at all.
What that looks like in numbers
1,600+ agencies are listed across the UAE, Saudi Arabia, Qatar, Kuwait, Bahrain and Oman. 1,300+ of them are matched to an official register. There are 1,500+ worker profiles, each tied to the agency that holds the worker's file. You can browse them all at gccdomestic.com/en/agencies.
Keeping it current
Registers change: offices close, licences lapse and duplicates appear. For Saudi Arabia we pull the Musaned office list again every week, and we track duplicate entries so one office does not show up three times. We do not change an agency's licence or contact details just because the agency asks; we change them only once they match the government register.
Salaries, published openly
Families also ask what a fair salary is. We publish salary bands by country and nationality in a yearly report, and we put the underlying dataset on Zenodo (DOI 10.5281/zenodo.22062457) so anyone can reuse or challenge it.
Open to AI assistants
The same data is available to AI assistants through a public MCP server at gccdomestic.com/mcp, listed in the official MCP Registry (com.gccdomestic/gccdomestic), with the source on GitHub. Claude, ChatGPT and others can search agencies, check a licence or pull salary benchmarks directly, and every answer points back to the source.
Free for families
Families never pay us. Agencies pay only for qualified leads. If that ever changed the way listings are ranked, the whole point of the register links would be lost, so it won't.
