Every October my inbox fills with the same request: "can you make a Halloween party invite for us?" I'm not a designer, and the "free" invite sites I tried either watermark the result, cap the resolution, or upload every draft to a server. So this year I drew my own — twenty little spooky scenes — and put them in a tool anyone can use without an account.

Why invitations are a perfect "in your browser" job

An invitation has exactly two things people care about: it looks good and it's private (a party at your address is not something you want training a model on someone else's server).

A Halloween invite is also a visual product — the whole point is a nice picture of a pumpkin / witch / haunted house. That's canvas work, which runs instantly on your own device. No queue, no "upload 30 seconds ago", no "download our app".

So the rules I built the maker around were simple:

• 20 original hand-drawn templates (pumpkins, witches, haunted houses, moons, bats, cats, webs, ghosts…)
• Everything rendered locally — nothing leaves the page
• No login, no watermark, full-resolution PNG or a real 5×7 print size
• One-tap share links so the person who makes one can send the tool to a friend

A few of the designs

The set covers a few moods, because "Halloween party" means very different things depending on who's hosting:

• Classic — glowing jack-o'-lanterns, a crooked tree and a graveyard under a crescent moon
• Kawaii — soft candy-purple, round ghosts and smiling pumpkins for a kids' party
• Retro — 70s sunburst rays, checkerboard and sticker borders
• Haunted House — a crooked house with warm windows on a cold violet night
• Masquerade — a purple witch in a big hat for the "after dark" crowd

Each one is drawn with code (canvas paths), so there are no stock photos to load and no upload step anywhere.

The part people keep asking about

"Do you have my data?" — No. There is no server storage. You type your party details into the page, the card is drawn on your own screen, and the PNG comes out of your own browser. If you close the tab, nothing was saved anywhere except (optionally) on your own device so you can pick up where you left off.

"Is it really free?" — Yes, every one of the 20 templates and every export size is free right now, no watermark, no account.

"Can I print paper invites?" — Choose the 5×7 print size and use the print button; it exports at 1500×2100 px, which prints cleanly at 5×7 inches.
