Watermark Your Photos in Bulk (Free, In Your Browser)

Add a text watermark to a whole folder of photos in one go — 100% in your browser, no uploads, no signup.

If you sell digital products, ship client work, or share your photography anywhere, you've faced the same chore: protect a folder of images without watermarking them one by one in a heavy editor. The usual tools either upload your files to a server or want a subscription. There's a free way to add a watermark to photos in bulk that keeps everything on your machine.

1. Where to put a watermark (and where not to)

  • Bottom-right corner is the default for a reason — it's visible but doesn't fight the subject.
  • Bottom-center works well for videos and banners.
  • A diagonal repeating pattern is the pro move for images you plan to sell — it makes the preview useless for theft while staying readable.
  • Don't put a watermark over the main subject unless it's purely to deter screen-scraping.

2. Watermarking a whole folder in your browser

  • Keep it smaller than you think; a giant watermark makes the work look cheap.

4. Why the no-upload angle matters
