WHAT IS ROUTE TABLE: A Route Table is like a map used by a network to decide where data should travel. It contains a set of rules (called routes) that tell network traffic which path to take to reach its destination.
STEP BY STEP GUIDE TO CONFIGURE ROUTE TABLE
STEP 1 In the search box, enter Route tables. When Route table appears in the search results, select it, and in the Route table page, select + Create and create the route table.
STEP 2 Associate the route table to the subnets
n the portal, continue working with the route table, select app-vnet-firewall-rt.
In the Settings blade, select Subnets and then + Associate.
Configure an association to the frontend subnet, then select OK.
NEXT STEP FORWARD Configure an association to the backend subnet, then select OK.
STEP 3 Create a route in the route table
In the portal, continue working with the route table, select app-vnet-firewall-rt.
In the Settings blade, select Routes and then + Add.
Configure the route, then select Add.
