Accept telemetry
When I started building ATLOCK, I decided to go in the opposite direction.
No mandatory account.
No telemetry.
No cloud dependency.
No usage tracking.
Every feature—from the encrypted password vault to Intruder Ops and file protection—is designed to work locally on your Windows PC.
It wasn't the easiest decision.
Cloud services make syncing, analytics, and debugging much easier for developers.
But they also increase complexity and expand the attack surface.
For a security application, I wanted users to own their data—not hand it over.
ATLOCK has now crossed 500+ downloads, and every bit of feedback has helped shape the project.
I'm still improving it every week, and I'd genuinely appreciate hearing what Windows users think.
