The Reset: Returning to Code, AI, and Building After a Year Off

It’s been nearly a year since I last actively posted or shipped code publicly. Life happened, academic commitments shifted, and my focus drifted. But a few days ago, looking at a blank editor and dusty repositories, I realized something: the urge to build never really went away.
Stepping away for a long time gives you a weird kind of clarity. When you're constantly in the grind, it's easy to get caught up in framework fatigue or tutorial hell. Coming back with fresh eyes made me realize I don’t need to know everything at once—I just need to start building again.
If you've ever taken an extended break from coding, writing, or building—whether it was a few months or a full year—how did you shake off the rust? Let me know your favorite ways to get back into the flow state. I'm excited to be back.
