I am an advocate of Passwordless login, I recommend everyone to go passwordless, and rely on social logins but I would love to know the views of dev-community on the subject.

I have read that, it might be preferred to be less reliant on third parties and social networks on login; as they might be blocked for some users in some countries.
It seems that everyone need an account with password somewhere. Not sure if mere 2FA with mobile phone number (SMS) or Authenticator apps is possible.
