💻How to Stop Procrastinating as a Teen Coder and Balance a Healthy School Life📑

Being a teen coder is super exciting, but balancing it with school can be tricky. Here’s how you can stop procrastinating and keep everything in check!

1. Set Clear Goals
Daily Goals: Break down your tasks into manageable daily goals.
Weekly Goals: Look at the bigger picture and set weekly milestones.
Pro Tip: Use a planner or a digital tool like Trello to keep track of your goals.

2. Create a Study Schedule
Balancing coding and schoolwork is all about having a solid schedule. Sample Schedule

Time Activity
1:30 PM - 3:30 PM Coding Session
3:30 PM - 4:30 PM Break
4:30 PM–6:30 PM Homework/Study
6:30 PM–7:00 PM Exercise/Break
7:00 PM–9:00 PM Free Time
9:00 PM onwards Family/Dinner

Remember: Stick to this schedule but don’t forget to be flexible if something comes up.

3. Avoid Distractions
Find a Quiet Space: Choose a place with minimal distractions for your study and coding sessions.
Turn Off Notifications: Use apps like Forest to stay focused.

4. Take Regular Breaks
Working non-stop isn't effective. Use the Pomodoro Technique:

Work for 25 minutes.
Take a 5-minute break.
After 4 cycles, take a longer break (15–30 minutes).
->Why? It keeps your brain fresh and boosts productivity.

5. Stay Healthy
Exercise Regularly: Incorporate some physical activity into your daily routine.
Eat Well: Avoid junk food and eat nutritious meals.
Sleep: Ensure you get 7-8 hours of sleep.

6. Seek Help When Needed
Don’t hesitate to ask for help from teachers, friends, or online communities. Collaboration can solve problems faster and better.

7. Reward Yourself
Celebrate your achievements, no matter how small. Rewards can be a great motivator.

Conclusion
Balancing coding with school is totally doable with some planning and discipline. Follow these tips, and you'll be on your way to becoming a coding pro while acing school!
