Program Overview
The iDev "Tech for Good" initiative aims to provide quality coding education opportunities for youth in underserved areas across Malaysia and Southeast Asia. The first phase will cover Sabah and Sarawak in East Malaysia, targeting 5,000 young people aged 14-18.
Curriculum Design
The curriculum is designed by iDev's senior engineering team, covering four modules: programming fundamentals, web development basics, AI concept introduction, and hands-on projects. All course materials are free and available in Malay, Chinese, and English.
Volunteer Recruitment
iDev encourages all employees to participate in volunteer teaching, offering an additional 5 days of paid leave for each participating volunteer. Over 100 employees have already signed up for the first phase of teaching activities.
