Starting a not tech hobby in a Dev world scenario

Context:
I have tried to keep myself busy while I have time to think about the things I can not think while I am working.

This is a text that describes my new journey, it's the beggining of 2026, and I have been thinking about writing about tech stuff that will not only breaks the limit I have been facing while I am learning about how to be a Developer. Just a Junior, but with the idea of being bigger one day.

So, I just realize I haven't write a thing for about 8 years, and I think everyone needs a hobby that leads us to develop other kind of talents, not just a writing code (or even copying and pasting words that probably one day will make sense). (And why not, ..in English)

So I found out this writing hobby can be helpfull for different reasons, and hopefully you found one you like:

  • It's one of the hobbies experts tell you to do when you want to freed up a little your mind.
  • You can read better things than in social media (I don't know if there are memes or jokes here yet).
  • I can say what I could not say talking.
  • You can say something and if it's right your ego will raise, if not your shame will not be that bad.
  • You can develop or improve your writing skills (by yourself or by reading other's ideas).
  • You found out that you can write.
  • You can read better stories from people probably similar than you, and if not, you read people's mindsets.
  • If the idea is to be part of a community, you can be part of the community.
  • If you want to involve in a dev environment.
  • If this is a way to involve yourself into more knowledge.
  • You can see if your ideas have sense and you can improve them at any time.
  • You can invest more time trying to write the right thing instead of just writing, so you can improve your knowledge.
  • If you want to do "something better" for yourself and other people that can read your ideas or reflect in your experience.
  • You can reflect yourself in others experiences.
  • You can get distracted by others opinions.
  • You can distract others with your opinions.
  • You can say you write articles.
  • You can write by free.
  • This can help you to order your ideas before writing, or between, (or at the end).
  • You can be yourself.
  • You can find your voice.
  • You can find out you have a writing mode.
  • You will learn if you keep practicing.
  • You just can do it.

Hopefully this also helps me to evolve.
See you soon.
